Privacy Policy — Flip Worth AI

This Privacy Policy explains what information Flip Worth AI (a WorthScan AI app) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Flip Worth AI includes Scan & Valuation (AI-assisted resale analysis of item photos), Reseller Tools (inventory and sales records), and Marketplace IQ (marketplace sourcing and deal-decision tools). It is not a certified appraisal or authentication service.

Information is collected only when you use the related feature. For example, if you do not use Reseller Tools, no inventory records are created for you.

Information we collect

Account

• Account email — used to create and manage your account, and for login.

Scan & Valuation

• Uploaded item photos — the photos you submit for an AI-assisted scan.
• Scan results — the AI-generated resale insights returned for each scan.
• Saved finds — items you choose to save in the app.

Reseller Tools

• Inventory records — items you add to Inventory, including the item image carried over from a scan or listing.
• Purchase details — purchase price, purchase date, and source or store.
• Sale information and expenses — sale price, sale date, where you sold the item, and selling expenses you record.
• Item status and notes — such as in stock, listed, sold, refunded, or archived, and any notes you add.
• Receipt and item images — receipt photos and item images attached to your inventory records.
• Reseller dashboard records — totals and averages calculated from the records above.

Marketplace IQ

• Buy Rules and preferences — search terms, categories, marketplaces, price and deal criteria, and whether Deal Alerts are turned on.
• Marketplace listing references and details — for listings surfaced by Opportunity Finder or that you open, save, or compare: listing identifiers, titles, prices, condition, images, listing status, and links, as provided by the marketplace.
• Deal Decision inputs — the Target Resale Price and other assumptions you enter to calculate deal economics.
• Deal Watch — listings you choose to watch, the price and availability information Flip checks for them, and any notes you add.
• Marketplace Battle — the listings you select to compare.
• Bought It — when you mark a listing Bought It, the listing and purchase details used to create the inventory record.

Subscriptions, notifications, and support

• Subscription and feature-access status — which plans or purchases are active on your account, used to unlock scans, Reseller Tools, and Marketplace IQ.
• Push notification token — if you allow notifications (for example, for Deal Alerts), a device push token and device platform so alerts can be delivered to your device. Signing out removes that device's registration.
• Scan usage and app usage data — information needed to operate your account, enforce usage limits, and maintain security.
• Support messages — if you contact us for help, we retain the content of those communications.

How your information is used

• Login and account management.
• AI scan analysis on submitted photos and item details.
• Saving and displaying your scans, inventory, sales, and dashboard within the app.
• Checking marketplaces for listings that match your Buy Rules, and showing matches in For You.
• Calculating deal economics from listing information and your own assumptions.
• Checking price and availability for listings in Deal Watch.
• Sending Deal Alerts and other notifications you have turned on.
• Feature access, subscriptions, usage limits, and scan usage tracking.
• Generating CSV exports when you request them.
• Security and fraud prevention.
• Responding to support requests.

How your photos are used

Photos are used to provide app functionality, including AI-assisted scan analysis and keeping item and receipt images with your inventory records. Please do not upload personal or sensitive photos that are unrelated to checking an item or keeping your reseller records.

We do not sell personal data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Service providers

We may use third-party service providers to operate the app, including for authentication, database and storage, AI scan analysis, marketplace listing data, subscription and purchase management, push notification delivery, email delivery, and app distribution. These providers are given access only to the information needed to perform those services. When Marketplace IQ searches a marketplace, the search criteria from your Buy Rules are sent to that marketplace's data service to retrieve listings.

Purchases

Purchase transactions are processed by the App Store. Flip Worth AI does not receive full payment card details.

Your choices and data deletion

• You can delete saved finds, inventory items, Buy Rules, and watched deals within the app.
• You can turn off Deal Alerts for a Buy Rule, or turn off notifications in your device settings.
• You can delete your account and associated data. See our Delete Account & Data page for instructions.

AI-generated estimates and deal calculations are for informational purposes only and are not a certified appraisal, authentication, or a guarantee of resale value, sale price, or profit. See our Disclaimer for details.
